Skydiving: the new summer minigame

Skydiving is one of the biggest event activities and a strong way to earn Acorns early. You can board the Airship across from the Playground and jump into the minigame once per in-game day.

While falling, your goal is to pass through as many rings as possible and land as close to the bullseye as you can. You can move your avatar side to side and forward or backward while falling, but not upward.

Skydiving rewards

If you want to practice, talk to Randi inside the Airship to start Time Trials. A leaderboard also displays the fastest times in the server.

Storm Condor Challenge

Starting in week 3, you can talk to the Storm Condor NPC inside the Airship to begin a special challenge. You’ll need to skydiving through all 26 storm rings.

If you complete it, you unlock the ability to purchase the Storm Condor pet next to the Airship until the next in-game morning.

Water Balloon Fight rewards

The Water Balloon Fight area is between the Vehicle Dealership and the Campsite. Grab Water Balloons from the buckets there and throw them at other players.

Each Water Balloon has five uses. When you hit another player, you earn Acorns.

The event includes karp fish of different rarities, plus a special Tealwood Monster option at the Fishing Shop spot.

Best tips to earn Acorns faster

If you want to maximize your event progress, focus on the activities that fit your play style.

  • Do Skydiving once per in-game day for the biggest single-run payout.
  • Use Water Balloon Fight when you’re in a crowded server.
  • Fish regularly so you can work toward better rods and higher-value karp.
  • Collect Bone in a Bottle as soon as it appears so your shore doesn’t fill up.
  • Check Ducky Drive when it opens in week 4 for another fast Acorn source.
  • Turn in pet needs during the event for extra Acorns over time.

What players should check in-game

Because event rotations can change with weekly updates, it’s smart to verify a few things in the game itself:

  • Which week-specific items are currently available
  • Whether the Airship, Ducky Drive queue, or fishing rewards are active
  • Which team won the current voting round
  • Whether any NPC has moved or added a new dialogue option
